Culinary internship will include a focus on contemporary Creole cuisine with training in the prestigious Café Adelaide restaurant (www.cafeadelaide.com), Swizzle Stick Bar, Banquet and Room Service operations at the hotel
Rotation will include exposure to Garde Manger, Meats / Butchery, Receiving and Storage of products, Saucier, Banquets and Catered events, while rotating through the hotel's culinary department.
$11.10 ($11.50 after 90 days)
Hotel will provide 2 weeks of free accommodation in the hotel upon arrival. J-1s must use this time to secure suitable local housing. Hotel will provide leads and recommendations on local housing. Local housing can cost between $800 - $1000 per month.

Pre-requisite: | Good English Speaking Skills required. Must be studying on a culinary degree program / have previous kitchen line cook experience and have solid knife skills. Must be able to perform physically demanding work and be able to lift, carry and push heavy objects. |
